Bioremediation technologies are the corner stone of the EPS, s.r.o. company activities in the field of environmental decontamination. The greatest advantage of these technologies is their negligible environmental side effects. These methods are based primarily on the support of natural attenuation (self-cleaning) processes mediated either by microorganisms originally present within the environment or by microorganisms artificially introduced to the environment. The inoculation of the polluted environment by microorganisms of defined metabolic preference towards the target pollutant is called Bioaugmentation.
