The EPS s.r.o. company has its own collection of microorganisms composed of bacterial and yeast taxa. This extensive group of identified and verified microorganisms with the biodegradation potential is used in bioremediation technologies for the degradation of crude oil products, phthalates, chlorinated ethylenes, BTEX, MTBE, etc. Individual strains were isolated from long-term organic and inorganic pollutant-contaminated sites, or obtained from the Czech Collection of Microorganisms (CCM) in Brno. In order to achieve extended viability, the microorganisms are kept in the form of a lyophilisate. Specifically, the collection contains taxa of commonly occurring genera such as Pseudomonas, Gordonia, Rhodococcus, Variovorax or Kocuria.
